Seminar 2: Brandification: Redefining Corporate SpacesPresented by Mr. Ching Yew TUNG, Principal of SODA (Spirit Of Design Analogy)
The permeation of commercial brands has evolved beyond logos and advertisements. How do we keep up with the ever-changing corporate and retail environments? In this seminar, Tung Ching Yew, Managing Director of SODA (Spirit Of Design Analogy), will share how Spatial Design plays a crucial role by defining distinct personas for various corporate and retail brands, in which he termed this design methodology as – Brandification.
About the Speakers:
Cameron Woo, founder of Cameron Woo Design (CWD), is celebrated as one of the world’s top interior designers. His firm has been featured in the interior design bible, Andrew Martin Interior Design Review, the Oscars of the interior design world, and has won multiple awards from the International Property Awards, London for World’s Best Interior Design, Asia Pacific’s Best Interior Design and for Singapore. Cameron has been invited to speak at international interior design conferences such as 100% Design, China International Interior Design Cultural Festival, One to One with World Class Designers and Hong Kong International Lighting Fair. CWD has collaborated with some of the world’s largest consumer and prestige brands such as Dulux, Louis Vuitton and Philips Lighting. Cameron Woo is a panellist on Akzonobel’s Colour Futures and has also been the guest judge andmentor on the hit international interior design reality television show The Apartment TV.
Ching Yew Tung founded Spirit Of Design Analogy Pte. Ltd. (SODA). SODA has been appointed by many corporate entities as Design Consultant in the field of spatial design. SODA's clientele includes Japan Tobacco International (JTI), Hilding Anders Group (China, Malaysia, Singapore), Soo Kee Group (Soo Kee Jewellery, SK Jewellery, SK Gold, Love & Co., Brilliant Rose, MoneyMax), Kenko Holdings Ltd, Hatten Group Sdn Bhd and many others. Tung has been appointed as Design Consultant for projects such as the National Day Parade and Orchard Road Christmas Light-up. In addition, he has successfully accomplished projects both locally and overseas, such as the U.S., China, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Arlene Tablan is the Regional Marketing Director for AKZONOBEL DECORATIVE PAINTS for South East, South Asia, Middle East. Her passion and priority is to build the Dulux brand across the region, making it the brand of choice among consumers and customers. She believes that key to winning is leveraging the strategies and resources at both global and regional levels, and adapting them in each market. Born in the Philippines, Arlene was based in Malaysia for five years before joining AkzoNobel as the head of Marketing in Vietnam. Vietnam was the first country in Asia to relaunch the Dulux brand using the Flourish as the new brand identity. Through the Dulux Let's Colour project, she had been involved in engaging communities across various parts of Asia, bringing colour and art to public spaces, making these spaces more liveable and inspiring.
